Watching, so you don't have to

Know the moment
it goes down

PingDog probes your websites, APIs and infrastructure on a schedule you build and tells you the instant something breaks. Anonymous, no account, no subscription — pay once in USDC for exactly the checks you want, and we forget you completely when you're done.

Monitoring that respects you and your target

Most monitors make you sign up, lock you into a subscription, and quietly log everything about you. PingDog does none of that — it's honest software you pay by the check, built so that watching a site never harms the site.

Anonymous, pay once

No account, no email required, no KYC, no card. Send one USDC payment for exactly the monitoring you configured, and it runs. Nothing renews, nothing recurs, and there's no account to cancel — come back next month or never.

Poll-once, fan-out

No matter how many customers watch the same target, PingDog runs one probe stream and fans the result out to everyone. Your target never sees a customer-multiplied probe storm — the fan-out is the DDoS protection — and one probe serving many is exactly why it's cheap.

Scheduling that fits any week

Set a daily active window in 24-hour UTC, tick exactly which days of the week run, and let it repeat for N weeks or until a date you pick. Weekdays, Friday–Saturday, six-day weeks — any pattern, no built-in Western assumptions. All of it prepaid, none of it recurring.

We forget you completely

Zero personal data — no name, no location, no IP logs, no tracking. Your monitoring detail decays to a hashed, non-personal aggregate, then to nothing: a three-tier decay that ends in complete erasure, including the access key itself. Privacy is the product, not a footnote.

Verifiable proof of work

The count of checks actually delivered to you is the proof — a verifiable, signed record you can check against our public key. You are billed per result delivered at your chosen cadence, at a fixed price, never per internal probe and never a price that shifts with how many strangers watch the same target.

A real free tier

Not a locked demo — the same builder, in its zero-cost range. Up to 3 monitors at a 5 minutes interval run with no payment and no wallet at all. Push the interval faster or add more targets and a price simply appears, right there on the slider.

One probe, fanned out to everyone

If a hundred people want a target's status at 19:05, PingDog probes it once and hands the same fresh result to all hundred. A single mechanism with three wins at once — and the reason PingDog is both cheap and safe to point at a busy service.

N customers watching X 1 probe stream fanned to all N
A probe taken at 19:05:00 satisfies everyone whose check is due in that window — a customer due at 19:05:03 is served the 3-second-old result rather than triggering a fresh probe. Coarser subscribers simply sample a finer shared stream.

Cheap by construction

You pay per result delivered to you at your cadence — not per network probe. When your check is a coarser sample of a shared, finer stream, you still receive exactly what you bought. The de-duplication is invisible to you; it's just why the price is a fraction of a cent.

Kind to the target

A popular target sees one probe stream regardless of how many customers watch it. There is no customer-multiplied storm, so monitoring with PingDog can never turn into an accidental, distributed load on the thing you're watching.

The billing rule that always holds: a fixed price per delivered check. We never split a probe's cost among whoever happens to share it — your price never depends on how many strangers want the same target. What you configured is what you're billed, every time. See the mechanism →

Build it, pay once, walk away. No account to create, no data left behind.

1

Build your monitor

Point it at a target and drag two sliders — how often, and how long. Add a UTC active window and a day-of-week mask if you want. The live price (or "Free") updates as you go.

2

Pay once in USDC

Send USDC to your order's single-use address — scan the QR, tap your wallet, or copy the amount. Monitoring dispatches automatically on confirmation. Inside the free tier, skip this entirely.

3

We probe on schedule

PingDog runs the shared probe stream and fans each result out to you at your cadence — with alerts the moment something goes down.

4

Verify, then vanish

Your history is a verifiable, signed record. When your monitoring is done, everything tied to you decays and is erased — you leave zero trace.
